Located in Cali, Colombia, this famous hill that protects the city from the height is a local emblem without a doubt. Besides being a tourist attraction, "El Cerro de las tres cruces" is well known for being a sports destination because most of the Cali people who climb it don't do it only for the beauty of the place, but to exercise, practice hiking, be in shape and while we climb and descend it, to have beautiful panoramic views of the city.
The climbing time is usually between 30 and 50 minutes. If you do any less you're in pretty good shape, otherwise, you're just going to be stopping every 5 minutes to take pictures to catch your breath, lol.
If you take the suggested route, the one called "the stairs", the entrance to Bataclan Park is the recommended place to start stretching and warming up. As you can see in the video, it is an area with less difficulty for the climb since you are not going up where the floor is all wet and bumpy.
Upon reaching the top we can find "El Monumento de las Tres Cruces", which was built because, according to the legend, the devil appeared on the hill and cursed the citizens of Cali, so to count this curse a priest organized the construction of these to lock up him within the hill itself.
