ROKETSAN signed a contract for the supply of KHAN missile system and air defense system to Indonesia during the Indo Defense Fair held in Indonesia. In this context, it was stated that ROKETSAN will develop layered air defense systems for Indonesia.
It was stated that new air defense systems will be developed according to the needs of Indonesia with the experience gained from the HİSAR and SİPER projects. It was stated that the new system was developed under the name TriSula.
In Indo Defense 2022 held in Indonesia, agreements were signed for the export of systems developed by our defense industry. An agreement was signed for the export of the KHAN Ballistic Missile System developed by ROKETSAN . The KHAN missile system, which is the export version of the BORA ballistic missile system, will thus be included in the inventory of a force other than the Turkish Armed Forces for the first time. The export version of BORA, a system that has proven itself on the battlefield, is expected to achieve export success again in the coming period.
The BORA ballistic missile creates intense and effective firepower on high priority targets within the army's sphere of influence. BORA Missile; It provides excellent fire support to maneuvering units by creating timely, accurate and effective firepower. The missile can be launched from other platforms with a suitable interface for integration with the ROKETSAN-manufactured BORA Weapon System. The range of the BORA Missile is considered to be 280+km.
In Indo Defense 2022 held in Indonesia, cooperation agreements were signed for the export of systems developed by our defense industry and for aerospace, aviation and armored vehicles. President of Defense Industries, İsmail Demir, explained the development from his official Twitter account;
“In Indo Defense 2022, agreements on cooperation in aerospace and armored vehicles were signed with the export of air defense missiles, combat management system, control boats and some other systems developed by our defense industry to Indonesia. Good luck for our country!”
Indo Defense Expo & Forum 2022 fair, which was held after 4 years, was held in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, on 2-5 November. A total of 28 defense industry companies from Turkey, mainly FNSS, ASELSAN, HAVELSAN, OTOKAR, ROKETSAN, TUSAŞ, participated in the fair. FNSS exhibited the Armored Amphibious Assault Vehicle (ZAHA) and KAPLAN MT together with the ÇAKA Remote Controlled Tower (UKK) at the Indo Defense 2022 fair held in Indonesia.
