At least 33 Palestinians were killed and dozens more injured on Thursday by Israeli strikes on the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian news agency Wafa.
Israeli warplanes launched multiple air strikes on homes in the camp. The majority of those killed are women and children, according to the report.
Thursday has been a bloody day in Gaza, with medical workers telling Wafa that at least 70 people have been killed by Israeli strikes, with the majority in the central and southern parts of the besieged enclave.
