Rainbow Aura Quartz Crystal Druse Carved Crystal Skull Sculptures

As if touched by a metallic rainbow, dazzling colors on quartz crystals decorate a variety of our carved crystal skull designs. Quartz rock crystal specimens from Brazil, with amazing sprays of natural prismatic crystal clusters radiating from a stony quartz matrix, become fascinating fields of colorful druse. A perfect crown for so many crystal skulls, and a remarkable end result every time!

Prior to carving, these crystals were enhanced with a combination of titanium and niobium. Molecules of these metals were permanently bonded to the crystal surfaces by the natural electrostatic charge of the quartz, by means of a magnetron ionization process. The result is a mirrored metallic surface on each crystal face displaying a stunning array of rainbow colors. The colors are created by the optical interference of the layers of titanium on the crystal faces. Rainbow aura quartz, also called flame aura, is one of the loveliest of the aura enhancements, and offers a remarkable contrast between the beautiful crystals and the carved and polished crystal skull.
