The Niagara Catholic District School Board will fly the rainbow flag for Pride Month this year.

Trustees agreed to fly the flag for a week in June, following a board meeting on Tuesday.

The decision only covers 2021. Trustees will hold public consultations about future Pride Week/Pride Month events.

The flag will fly from June 1 to June 6.

Hamilton’s Catholic school board says they will be making an announcement on this on Friday.
