This chapter describes how Lord Shri Krishna, intending to enjoy the Raasa dance, engaged in arguments and conversation with the Gopis. This chapter also describes the beginning of the raasa dance and suddenly the disappearing of the Lord from the midst of the Gopis.
This video is made in the memory of my mother Late Jayalakshmi Santhanam, who taught the Shrimad Bhagawatam to hundreds of devotees who call ourselves as 'Krishnapriya'.
The Shrimad Bhagawatam is one of the 18 great Puranas. The text consists of 12 cantos(Skandas)totalling 332 chapters(adhyayas) and nearly 18000 verses.
This video is meant to help beginners to read along and experts to enjoy the chanting while going about their activities.
