While Google doesn't have a directory in the traditional sense, you can list your business on Google. That is, through Google My Business.

Google My Business (GMB) is what Google's product is called for managing your business across Google websites and apps. You need to create a GMB profile that's complete and accurate. Google will then take the information you provide and use it to show your business across their portfolio of websites and apps.

Your business can show up in the following locations:

- The Google search 3-pack which is a map at the top of most local business searches (search HVAC contractor in Google) and shows a map with a list of 3 businesses below it.
- Google Maps website or mobile apps too. You can search for anything in Google Maps and it will show a list of places, businesses, or whatever relevant to customers' search.
- Google search for your business name. Google will pull information from your GMB profile to show more complete information about your business.

Google is the #1 search engine in the world, therefore, is essential for your business to be seen on it. It all starts with creating an accurate GMB profile ([ Ссылка ]) and then making sure your information is consistent and accurate across other directories too.

You need to at a minimum manage the following parts very accurately in GMB:

- Categories
- Reviews (a tool like Loclweb Marketing can help you do this even better: [ Ссылка ])
- NAP (name, address, phone number)
- Description

Make sure you search Google to see if your business already has a profile. If you do then claim it. If you do not then create a new business profile and fill it out completely.
