In this episode, I am “Back in the Woods” We head to Northern Missouri for the best time of the year. November 5. Can’t beat it. This old buck came in to a snort wheeze and grunt sequence on a warm morning at 7:45 am. We didn’t think we would have much movement considering the weather. But we saw he was pushing a few does in a thicket behind a clover plot and came in looking for a fight. He closed in fast and was shot at 29 yards. The coolest buck I ever harvested and by far one of the biggest bodied deer I have hunted. Got a good lift and a good deer! STAY AFTER IT!
