After a brief encounter with the members of the Crime Branch, one suspect—reportedly the cleaner of the dumper that ran over and killed Haryana Deputy Superintendent of Police Surender Singh—was taken into custody. The driver of the truck that ran down the DSP in Pachgaon village, near the Tauru police station, in the Nuh district of Haryana, has been identified as the arrested suspect as Ikkar.
