STORYLINE
Ten people were killed and five wounded in the Afghan city of Kandahar on Thursday 17th May when two bombs went off just 15 minutes apart, an official said.
The Taliban claimed responsibility for the coordinated attacks.
A police official said four officers were killed when a remote controlled bomb targeting a police vehicle went off.
About 15 minutes later, a second device exploded, hitting police who were clearing up the wreckage from the first bomb, killing another six police officers and wounding five.
An Associated Press reporter was among the journalists at the scene when the second blast went off.
