■ EXPO 2020 Dubai:
It's a World Expo, currently hosted by Dubai UAE from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022. Originally scheduled for 20 October 2020 to 10 April 2021, it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite being postponed, organizers kept the name Expo 2020 for marketing and branding purposes. The Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) general assembly in Paris named Dubai as the host on 27 November 2013. The master plan, designed by the American firm HOK, is organized around a central plaza, entitled Al Wasl, enclosed by three large thematic districts. The expo will have a theme called "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future". Each one is dedicated to one of the sub-themes of Expo 2020 – Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability. The Dubai Expo 2020 is associated with a rise in the UAE's GDP, as predicted by the International Monetary Fund. The Expo 2020 was officially opened on 30 September 2021. Listed below are nations and organizations participating in Expo 2020 according to their sub-themes:
A) Country Pavilions with Opportunity sub theme include: Afghanistan, Argentina, Armenia, Austria, Bahrain, Belarus, Belize, Bhutan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brunei, Burundi, Cameroon, Chad, China, Colombia, Congo, Cyprus, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, Fiji, Ghana, Guatemala, Guinea-Bissau, Guyana, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lebanon, Liberia, Luxembourg, Malawi, Mali, Malta, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Monaco, Morocco, Myanmar, Namibia, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Rwanda, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Samoa, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Tunisia, Uganda, Ukraine, UAE, UK, USA, Venezuela, Vietnam, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Organization Pavilions include: African Union, Arab League, Dubai Cares, GCC, Investment Corporation of Dubai. Special Pavilions include: Baden Wurttemberg, Good Place and Mission Possible.

C) Country Pavilions with Sustainability sub theme include: Andorra, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Bangladesh, Benin, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Canada, Central African Republic, Comoros, Cuba, Czech Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Guinea, Kuwait, Lesotho, Lithuania, Madagascar, Malaysia, Maldives, Montenegro, Mozambique, Netherlands, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Portugal, Romania, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Sao Tome and Principe, Seychelles, Singapore, Slovenia, Spain, Suriname, Sweden, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Yemen. Partner Pavilions include: Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, PepsiCo. Special Pavilions include: Terra and Women's.
Ticket prices: Three types of passes can be booked: daily passes, monthly passes and seasonal passes. The daily pass is applicable for one day only, costing AED 95. The monthly pass offers unrestricted entry for 30 consecutive days and costs AED 195. The seasonal pass offers unlimited entry for the entire six months of the Expo and costs AED 495. Entry is free for children below the age of 18, students holding valid ID cards of recognized academic institutions, and visitors aged 60 and above. Tickets are also free for people of determination (disabled people), with 50% off being offered for one caretaker.
