Far away in the North there is a small, inconspicuous settlement hidden between the icy mountains and fjords of Spitsbergen. Barentsburg - a little piece of Russia on Svalbard; an extraordinary place, where the present and the past become one. A dream town for anyone craving for silence and a moment of simple solitude.
All material was shot during my Arctic excursion on Spitsbergen, in early September 2015.
