This is the first short film in my "Dinosauria Animated Series". This film takes place in Alberta, Canada 75 million years ago and follows an old alpha-male styracosaurus as he defends his territory from a rival male.
This was a far simpler film to make in comparison to what I've been doing for the past few years, but I personally found it a refreshing change of pace because of that. I needed something fun and (relatively) easy after the nightmarish production of my last animated short film, "Immortal Machine".
This wonderful, simple film was a blast to make and reminded me that animation and filmmaking are still passions of mine. It holds a very specific and sentimental place in my heart because of that.
In fact, I enjoyed making this film so much that what was meant to be one simple film about dinosaurs turned into a whole series about them! :D
