Stumbled upon this little stall in Nishiki Market, they do Wagyu skewers and sushi but what caught our eye was the steaks in the front counter display 😍
We actually were gonna keep walking, but oh a whim decided to give it a go… and boy are we glad we did!
The sirloin steaks were around $40 and the cooking fee was $5 - $45AUD in total, an absolute STEAL 😱
Taste wise, this was the real deal - melt in your mouth pieces served with a little bit of wasabi and salt 🙌🏼
Back home something like this would easily cost $200+ so definitely worth trying while in Kyoto!!
