At least 78 people lost their lives in central Gaza due to an Israeli strike, as reported by health officials on Sunday. As per preliminary figures from nearby hospitals, several women and children were among the victims. The strike occurred in the Maghazi refugee camp east of Deir al-Balah, leading to frantic scenes at a nearby hospital. The Health Ministry in Gaza initially reported casualities at 78 while the Israeli military had no immediate comment on the incident.
