We walk along the perimeter of the airport to understand the scale of the Cheddi Jagan International airport. The distance between the departure area and the gates at the end of the air bridges could be as much as a quarter of a mile which has implications for check in time as those who do not leave enough time to get to the departure gates may miss their flight.
