Danzantes (a journey into the world of dance) – a documentary film by Spanish director Juan Vicente Chuliá filmed in 14 cities in 9 countries (Finland, Italy, Japan, USA, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Brazil, Ivory Coast, Spain) features my work Voyage à la terre de l’enchantement for Violin, Clarinet and Pianoforte, no. 434 (2016), which was commissioned by Julian Burnside AO QC, dedicated to my wife Katija Farac-Pertout, and especially composed for Australian ensemble Plexus (featuring violinist Monica Curro, clarinettist Philip Arkinstall, and pianist Stefan Cassomenos). The recording utilized in the film is a live recording by Trio Musicalis (Marco Pérez Blanco – violin; Eduardo Raimundo – clarinet; Francisco Escoda – pianoforte) at the Teatros del Canal in Madrid, Spain as part of the XX Festival de Música Contemporánea 2018 (COMA’18).
