A brilliant solo by Lindsay Buckingham that sounds simple, but is quite genius. As always, I would recommend listening to the original recording to get the best inspiration for the artists' inflection. I will try, but it cannot replace the what you can learn from hearing the original.
To start Lindsay was know for using his fingers a lot, so that is a big part of the sound. So I would recommend using your fingers for this one. Also there is a lot of playing before or after the beat so the phrase will end at the right spot. This is something that i have noticed many great soloists do. Anticipating the beat, instead of playing right when the downbeat happens.
Anyways I hope this lesson helps you to learn this solo. Feel free to ask me any questions and thanks for watching!
