THE NATIONAL Investigation Agency (NIA) filed its first charge sheet in the Elgar Parishad case against eight persons, nearly ten months after taking over the probe from Pune police. The agency claimed that the conspiracy related to the violence against Dalits in Bhima Koregaon on 1ST January 2018, was part of a “well chalked-out strategy”, and spread across the country and beyond.
