The speciality of this place is its unique menu that revolves around a daily specials dish that’s accompanied with the day regulars, another unique concept i found here, was they serve veg food in the day time & non-veg food in the afternoon... No restaurant does this !! This is a really cool & awesome way to cater to both the type of food lovers !!

Place is like entering into someone’s kitchen... very homely setup, as we had to travel a lot, we had requested the owner to keep 2 plates of ghee rice & also requested if they could onion dosae for us... thankfully the owner obliged, so we ended up trying both the specials.
Ghee #Rice with Veg Kurma ➖The ghee rice was very subtle, you only the get the aroma of ghee & once you take a bite, the ghee blended with the salt & rice ... gives it a very nice comfort feel, extremely low hints of bayleaf, cardamom & cloves... but once this is scooped with the kurma, it just comes alive, all the spices & flavours are capsuled in the kurma... i can say they are made for each other... just perfect!!

Onion Dosae ➖There are #onion dosaes & there is SLV Onion Dosae... the onions are so finely chopped, its the secret behind this dosae, the size of this makes it cook very evenly, giving a very caramelised texture on top... the use of white sesame seeds(till seeds) gives it a nutty toasted taste, almost like a finely chopped almonds, I really loved the use of these, not many restaurants use it... finally a #loaded dosae with ghee & served with coconut chutney is one deadly combination.
