(11 Jun 2016) The Israeli military has demolished the home of a Palestinian teenager who stabbed a Jewish mother to death in front of her children.
The military said its forces entered the West Bank village of Yatta early on Saturday to knock down the residence of Morad Bader Abdullah Adais.
As dawn broke, bulldozers could be seen piling rocks on the road leading to the area after demolishing the home.
In January, Morad Bader Abdullah Adais killed Dafna Meir, a mother of six, in her home in the Jewish settlement of Otniel.
He fled the scene and was later arrested.
Israel said it carries out housing demolitions to deter future attacks but Palestinians consider it a form of collective punishment.
