There are less than 5,000 people able to speak any Cornish – or Kernowek - with only around 300 to 400 fluent speakers. But officials at Cornwall Council want employees at call centres and receptions to learn the regional Celtic tongue and road signs across Cornwall will eventually all be bi-lingual.
