Chimpanzees filmed during a 4 hour habituation tracking in Kibale forest. These chimps are not fully habituated yet and are in an extensive habituation program that takes several years. During this trip it were only my husband and me, together with the researchers, to follow them.
During this 4 our experience you search for the chimpanzees before they get out of their nests and follow their daily routines as they wake up.
NOTE: There’s over 21,000 to 55,000 eastern chimpanzees remaining in East Africa and they’re listed as endangered by the IUCN.
