I recently did some modifications to my first "proper" electric guitar, a re-issue of a 1972 Fender Telecaster Custom, as I felt I wasn't inspired to play it very often. The neck was uncomfortably glossy and sticky, and the pickups were underwhelming.

So for this "mod project" I wanted to give some new life to the guitar that was my only instrument for many years, but has since been left largely unplayed due to having many more guitars that I enjoy playing more.

So enjoy this quick little run-down of the changes I made, over a little riff/solo I threw together.
