The 2018 Women's Australian Mile Championship, contested at The Crest on 22 December 2018 and hosted by Bankstown Sports Athletics Club.
Whitney Sharpe of Athletics Victoria has become the first Australian Mile Champion since 1993 after clocking 4:37.36 in a classic battle with the Melbourne Track Club's Genevieve Gregson, with Sharpe holding off the dual Olympian by just 0.3 seconds in a sensational closing lap. Rose Davies of Athletics NSW continued her stellar start to the season by claiming an open bronze medal in a time of 4:39.77 to add to her U20 3,000m win at Zatopek just ten days earlier.
