It is probably the case with everyone that they constantly visit the same places in their hometown. This recognition struck us as well, and then the idea arose to capture a little more. Since the basis of everything is systematics, our further decision was already easy - to walk through all the streets of the town. Of course, not all of them are very interesting. As every town, it has historic buildings as well as good, bad and very bad architecture. But it is as it is.
Here is the first one, a little more than 400 coming.
Juhan Liivi tänav/street
The street is named after the Estonian poet Juhan Liiv. The walk actually starts at the end of the street next to the former district court building. The Estonian National Museum was also located in this building for a long time. The next remarkable building was built of red bricks in the early 20th century as a student dormitory. Later, the Estonian National Archives was there for many years. The last newer building was the computer center of the University of Tartu and the study building for mathematicians. Biologists will be moving there soon.
