Setting the R6 clock. The below instructions work for the 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002 Yamaha YZF-R6, not to be confused with the YZF600R, though the instructions may work for it and the YZF-R1.

1) Hold down the SELECT button to see the time displayed
2) Hold down SELECT and RESET together
3) Once the Hour number begins blinking you can release the two buttons.
4) Press and hold RESET until the numbers cycle through. To fine tune the time you will want to hold the RESET button for approximately a second and then release. This will make the hour number go up one digit.
5) Press the SELECT button to set the minutes (the minutes will begin to flash)
6) Press the RESET button similarly to how it was pressed in step 4 and set the minutes.
7) Press the SELECT button to finish.
