Here is an in-theater recording of the theatrical trailer to the US release of The Magic Roundabout (2005) which I came across from a surviving microSD card to a broken Nokia 3230 phone. Hope you enjoy!
(lulz its a fake) (plz dont say its real cause it isnt)
For those who want to know the behind the scenes of this video, here are the steps I did.
1.I start off by ripping the trailer from disc 2 of the 2-disc edition of the film along with footage of the original version of the trailer that was released on the internet before the film's release.
2. I use Blender to animate the end card of the film's US release date and use my own poster credits I made on Keynote and slapped it onto VEGAS Pro.
3. Add a 35mm filter to the trailer footage.
4. Add an audience track for their reactions, most of them were sourced from original recordings uploaded to YouTube, Mr. Bean, a screening of Avengers Endgame and the 'Joker-fied' trailer to The Dark Knight (2008).
5. Put the trailer footage on a cinema screen (in which you couldn't see) along with using green screen footage of a walking man to use as he is just about to find his seat.
6. And finally, record it using my Nokia 6300 phone through my iMac and then convert it to 3GP by the lowest quality settings possible.
And voila! The most realistic fake thing you'll ever see! Hope you enjoy it!
