A delegation of Congress Leaders met Governor Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan and submitted a memorandum urging him to direct the government to rein in the sand mafia and another memorandum alleging that Manda Krishna Madiga’s was illicit. Governor objected to some comments made by Congress leaders against the government over sand and the held of Krishna Madiga.
