Do it Yourself (DIY) Car Wrapping
Hello everybody, in this video you will see how I have applied the Carbon Fibre Wrap. However I’d like to begin saying that this is not my job and that it is the very first time that I try to apply a wrap over a car.
Enjoy the video...
Let's start removing the car door's panel in order to take out the external door handle and the windows sills
Under the door handle you will find a screw covered with a plastic cap
In the objects compartment under the car carpet you will find two hex keys.
Unscrew them and cut off the connector of the window winder's command
Unscrew with a spanner N° 10 the two bolts which are under the objects compartment
Remove the container's top, it has been tightly fixed...unscrew the 4 screws that fix the car box and cut off the connector
two other torxs under the car speaker
Remove the panel in order to unhook it from the car door
Release with a spanner N° 10 the two bolts of the window’ s path mechanism
Unscrew with a spanner Torx the bolt on the car door’s side
Again with the spanner N° 10 release the car handle bolt
Unscrew the three bolts of this plastic edging
Unhook the car door’s handle rotating in a counter clockwise manner the blocking lever
Rotate 90 degrees around the door’s handle in a clockwise manner…push the button... take away the car’s door handle ...
...count up to 10... lift the right foot while closing the left eye :-P
Unscrew with a spanner N° 10 the three bolts of the rear-view mirror, cut off the connector
This seal was supposed to be lifted from the left and then it has been necessary to let it scroll down slightly on the left in order to unhooked it
Now I know how I can break the right car door’s seal ;-)
Clean well the surface
Finally we can start the setup of the wrap
Grrrr... I’ve over-heated it. Fortunately this has happened in a part that will be hidden by the car’s door handle
Let’s assemble again all the elements...
Exactly as for the pulling out process, in order to put on again all the elements it is necessary to push the button
Here you can see precisely how the lock lever is fixed...
of course it has to be linked and fixed in the interior part of the car’s door :-P
DONE!!! :-)
And we like it…………….
