Badgers & Cats - A busy night
#ukwildlife
#onenight
What you see in one video is the animals that appear in the area of the swing in the span of one night. Some nights there are more animals. Some nights a lot of interaction takes place. Other nights there are only one or two animals entering the swing area independently of each other. Also, the videos record in 2 minute clips, and depending when they are triggered off, I may miss the beginning/start or the end of the interaction between the animals. I post most days if I can.
#straycats
The stray cats began to appear at the beginning of Covid lockdowns 2020. I fed them. I named them. I provided cat pods. I put a cat flap in my garage door for them. I put bedding in higher places (cats generally like high up places) for the strays to sleep. Those strays which have cut off ears are those that have been caught by the cat societies and neutered and released back into the same environment as they were trapped by the cat societies. This is the policy round here. And the cat societies assume residents will feed these stray cats.
In 2022 I installed Trail Cameras. When I did this, I was not expecting to see badgers and foxes as well, and pretty much nightly.
