President-elect Donald Trump has released a statement addressing the deadly truck attack in New Orleans.
At least ten people have died and 35 have been injured after a vehicle drove into crowds on Bourbon Street in the city’s French Quarter.
In a post to Truth Social, Donald Trump said his administration will “fully support” New Orleans as they investigate and recover from this “act of pure evil”.
Authorities have identified the alleged suspect as 42-year-old Shamsud Din Jabbar.
