Well it allows you to take a blade you like that is already produced, and custom order every other aspect of it, significantly reducing your build time. I changed from the habaki backwards including a lengthened tsuka...what was the add to my delivery time? Just like the Bare Naked Ladies once said-One Week-(as well as "like Kurosawa I make mad films, okay I don't make films, but if they did they'd have a samurai")
