씨티, 백신 안 맞은 직원들 해고키로…월가 은행 최초
Citigroup is to place unvaccinated employees on unpaid leave and fire them at the end of the month,... becoming the first major Wall Street institution to implement the strongest vaccine mandate.
According to Bloomberg on Friday,... the U.S. bank sent a memo reminding employees that they must be fully vaccinated as a condition of employment,... and asked workers to submit proof of vaccination by January 14th.
It added that those who do not comply with the requirement would be placed on unpaid leave and fired at the end of the month.
This applies to the company's U.S.-based staff.
