On May 20, 2010, Iowa Public Television broadcast "The Des Moines Register Governor Debate: Race for the Republican Nomination" among the three candidates vying for the Republican nomination for governor, including Terry Branstad (R-Des Moines), Rod Roberts (R-Carroll), and Bob Vander Plaats (R-Sioux City).
Questions were posed by a panel of journalists, including: The Des Moines Register�s political columnist Kathie Obradovich, Dean Borg, Host and Moderator of Iowa Public Television�s Iowa Press and O. Kay Henderson, Radio Iowa News Director.
