I figured I would try an alternative -- a capsule hotel.
I had booked the Hotel Agas Internasional, but when I arrived it looked a lot less international" than I expected. So, I gave up on finding a real hotel and moved to try this budget travel hotel marvel.
Living in a capsule hotel was oddly a very satisfying experience. I tried out the Indonesian brand Bobobox sleeping pods in Solo/Surakarta, a historical tourism city in Central Java. I booked a double unit, so I could stretch out. I got my momma her own unit too. With a touch screen, you can control the colored lighting, air conditioning temperature, and even relaxing nature sounds to help you sleep.

The bedding was extremely clean and the bed was comfortable enough to sleep. Traveling Asia, and staying in a capsule hotel is something my mother and I will never forget. We slept so well that we stayed 2 nights.
