India has acknowledged that a man arrested in Pakistan's Balochistan region once served with the Navy, but denied that he has any current links with the Indian government. This was in response to Pakistan summoning the Indian envoy over the arrest of the man identified as Kulbushan Jadev, a man Pakistan says is an Indian naval officer spying for the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). India has categorically denied these charges of spying, on a day when a special investigation team from Pakistan was given visas to travel to Pathankot. How will this impact the thaw in India-Pak ties?
