Holding Bachelors in Health Sciences and Education, she has spent over a decade nurturing her six children—one in university, three in Islamic school, and two currently homeschooled. As the CEO of the Toronto Muslim Homeschoolers, she passionately supports homeschooling families. Beyond her educational pursuits, Sajida leads a Girl Guides unit and actively participates in the Muslim Association of Canada.

Amirah Hassan is a consultant, community leader, and mom of three budding entrepreneurs. With a career background in pharmacy, a degree in psychology, and a passion for photography, she brings dynamic expertise to @homeschooledinthecity, her platform dedicated to empowering women to embrace homeschooling with confidence. Amirah currently serves as a Community Ambassador at Toronto Muslim Homeschoolers and previously served as their Events Director.
