It is quite an interesting sight when hoards of people line up outside a shop waiting for food. This, however, is common occurrence outside Talib Kebab Corner in Zakir Nagar, South Delhi, which serves the juiciest tikkas in all of Delhi. Tikka is a fat chunk of meat cooked by being marinated in curd mixed with a variety of spices. For better results, hung curd is used for marinating. The meat is finally grilled to achieve the right amount of succulence and flavor. At Talib’s shop, the tikka is served with a bunch of kebabs, mint chutney, onions and lemon wedges. The entire affair is easy on the pocket but simply delicious.
