Periodically the Streaming Current Sensor will become less responsive, and when this happens, the probe and piston should be cleaned. The cleaning alone can restore the sensor back to where it is once again delivering expected performance results. The frequency of cleaning will vary from site to site, and can be impacted by the raw water quality, coagulant dosage, etc. It is a good idea to schedule routine cleanings.
