In mid-May 2018 Ewa Marine were kind enough to lend me a U-BZ100 underwater housing to test and review. I had two trips planned whereby an underwater housing would be a useful piece of gear to have around.
In May 2018 I headed to the tropical island of Martinique and got to use it a few times. And then I was able to test it in more forgiving condition at my local swimming pool getting my daughter to pose underneath the water.
The Ewa Marine underwater housing is a great budget alternative to something like an Ikelite housing. The latter will set you back somewhere in the region of 2000€ whereas the Ewa Marine housing is more like 350€.
Now OK, you don't get as much control as an Ikelite BUT if you're on a tight budget and just wanting to get into the first throws of underwater photography then this is definitely the housing for you!
