The Greek myth of Jason and the Argonauts adventure is an exhaustive description of the spiritual journey as known in Homer’s time up to the first steps of the Yoga of the cells. In this period, spirituality was not yet split from ordinary life. The course will follow Jason and the Argonauts Quest by Apollonius of Rhodes (Argonautica) which relates the spiritual journey with its main challenges obstacles and accomplishments.

Each event in the myth will be explained in relation with the spiritual evolution and the Yoga as taught by Sri Aurobindo and researched for 30 years by Claude de Warren.

This short video introduces the 25-unit course. The course is meant for those who are motivated to understand the deep meaning of Greek mythology as a description of the spiritual journey and integrate it with their life experiences. It will be more beneficial for those who have already a certain experience of life. The student is required to have no preconceived opinions or prejudices about mythologies, be ready for a different understanding than proposed by universities and be interested in symbolism.
