We've all ridden a new trail system and were caught by surprise by a new and scary drop. Some of us have hit drops before and others haven't. This video is aimed for those who are new into mountain biking and would like to try and pull the send trigger. Practice these key things and you will soon be hitting drops in no time!
1) Drop that Seat Post (not always applicable but easier)
2) Familiarize yourself with weight distrubution on your bike in the standing postition.
3) Unweight Your Front wheel By Learning to shift your weight over the rear wheel of the bike on flat ground.
4) Take these exercises to the curb or ledge and practice unweighting the front wheel (Not a Manual)
5) Always spot your landings first, determine the amount of speed and then stick the landing with arms and legs slighly bent to absorb the landing like a boss.
