2. General Transfers normally during 10 April to 25 May
3. Certain Categories of Officials will not be posed in their home districts/division/sub division/range, adjoining range/block/adjoining beat/circle/adjoining circle
4. Class IV employees only to be posted within district
5. Concessions are to Widows, Wives of Soldiers, Handicapped, Couples, Officials likely to retire within 2 years.

8. Transfers during ban period will be ordered with prior approval of Chief Minister in certain conditions like to fill up posts in tribal/difficult/hard area, vacancies on account of retirement, promotion or new creation, disciplinary or criminal cases
9, During General Transfers - Head of Department with approval of concerned Minister.
10. Normal Stay - 1 to 3 years depending on the post. No tenure for Class IV.
11. Charge to be relinquished without waiting for substitutes.
12. Posting of Employees in Hard/Difficult/Remote/Hard Areas - every employee at least to serve for single tenure except those who have 5 years for retirement.
