The shirt tuck you NEED to try this summer!!

There are many simple style tricks you can do to elevate an outfit. One I swear by is... tucking your top! Tucking your top adds INSTANT waist-definition, often times giving your figure a more flattering silhouette. My go-to is a half tuck, but you could also do a full tuck, tie tuck, crossover tuck, etc. (Sharing more of these soon!) I recently learned about this new tuck, and I’ve been trying it with all my summer button-downs...

1 | Start by unbuttoning the last two buttons on your top
2 | Take one shirt tail and thread it through the bottom gap between buttons, going from the outside-in
3 | Take the opposite shirt tail and do the same, also threading from the outside-in
4 | Pull the shirt tails taught to tighten the faux knot
5 | Tuck the shirt tails into your bottoms

You’ll be left with a pretty knot at the base of your top that doesn’t add any bulk!
