F134 engines are more common and typically less expensive than the earlier L134 engine. Benefits include that it’ll bolt right in and makes slightly more power then the L134. One downside though, is the stock carburetor is too tall to fit under the hood.
In this video, we’ll go over one way to get an F134 to fit into a low hood (Willys MB, Ford GPW, CJ2A, or CJ3a) to fit using a Holley 1904 carburetor. We’ll also review a few other upgrades to increase reliability.
