As I listened to this song, a reoccurring thought kept on popping into my head; what if I lived life without the arts? How would I go about things and make my purpose on this earth meaningful when the one thing that defines me is stripped away from my very hands? Growing up in the performing world since the age of 4, I never lived a day or night without music, dance, or the mic. So merely the thought of trying to replace that artistic piece of me with something else objective would just be never enough for me. The arts have always felt like a home to me, and no matter how many times life or circumstances have tried to steer me away from it, I’ve always came running back to what unequivocally felt right. I guess the whole point that I’m trying to get to is do something with love or don’t do it at all. We only live one life on this earth, so might as well create something beautiful out of it instead of searching for something that’ll “never be enough”!
