as far as I am concerned, and based on real European history, it is reasonable to expect that this state covers most but not all of France , Germany and Italy. this version I posit covers all of France but only part of Italy (the North) and most of Germany (all but the north /Prussia)

so, some versions I would expect do not cover any of the Italian peninsula while in others Brittany and Aquitaine are separate countries
