Whoever said a captain can't carry a team never had to play a game like this. We're lucky that in Vainglory many of the captains can do a ton of damage even with just a few items.
I picked up Phinn in this game to try and keep the enemies as close as possible in order to make sure VOX and Alpha were able to get off as much damage as they could in the fights. In these fights I was trying to keep my allies alive as much as I could as well as pick the kills if I needed to. There are some games like this that tend to be a struggle and if you're not playing near 100%, you're going to lose. Also, if your allies aren't doing what they need to do or have fallen behind, you're going to have to pick up the slack.
