I show you a faster way to ramp up on the forest world. Building water wells and planting trees to reduce the distance needed to travel by your forest rovers.
This world is like the red planet but there are no ore deposits. You need to collect wood, burn it into charcoal in the charcoal hut or charcoal factory. You then crush the charcoal into ore in the charcoal compactor. You also start off with 5 million atmosphere which is useful for building things that require breathable air. Like trees. You're going to need a ton of trees!
The forest world is a bit slower to start but eventually speeds up.
